Last night I spent hours with a Vision Pathway team at St. Luke's Methodist in Houston, refining, restating and refining further the articulation of strategy. It's a brutal process for leaders who engage it well and one of the most rewarding things about navigating with Auxano. Never stating and integrating a simple strategy is the greatest bottleneck for healthy churches.
I recently found this great video entitled, "Creating a Simple Strategy" by Dan Heath. I now use it in all of my strategy sessions and I know you'll enjoy it.
